The numbers are in from our 2019-19 season! Thanks to our incredible statewide network of volunteers, we have exceeded our goals and had our most successful season to date!

This year, WindowDressers volunteers built 7,597 inserts for 934 customers, with 34% of those inserts going to low income households free of charge. From 2017, we increased the number of inserts built by over 1,300, and we increased the number going to low income households by over 10 percentage points. We held 34 Community Workshops across the state, reaching 10 new communities for the first time.

This truly is a community effort— from customers contributing their time at Community Workshops, to volunteer Local Coordinators and Measuring Teams who give time all year to make their workshops a success, to all of the local partnerships and space donations that help operations run smoothly, to our incredible staff and board, and volunteers at the Lincoln Street Center. Together we have helped our neighbors stay warm, kept CO2 out of the atmosphere, and helped Mainers save over $3,000,000 in cumulative heating costs.
