What’s New This Year?

This season, we’re providing new and updated outreach materials to help you spread the word about your community build and reach more people.

Print Materials:

• Tear Off Flyers: Generic customer outreach flyers for public posting.
• Half Page Handouts: Small, convenient flyers for quick distribution.
• Customizable Flyers: Flyer templates for customer/volunteer outreach and signage, customizable through Canva.
• Trifold Brochure: Informative brochure about WindowDressers’ program for customers and volunteers.

 

 

Digital Assets:

• Social Media Graphics: Graphics for promoting community builds on social platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

 

 

Advertising:

• Press Release Templates: Templates for media coverage, editable via Google Drive.
• PSA for Cable Broadcasting: High-resolution PSA designed for TV and digital displays.

Leading a Community Build is a great way to make a lasting impact in your community and bring people together. If your community is interested, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. No prior experience is necessary—all the resources, training, and support you’ll need will be provided!

What WindowDressers Provides:

• Training and support throughout the season to teach all of the steps for organizing a Community Build;
• Workshops in the “off-season” to help volunteers strengthen their skill sets around fundraising, outreach, volunteer recruitment, and other topics identified by volunteers;
• Detailed resources and step-by-step guides for core volunteer roles;
• Custom gear used to assemble the inserts;
• All materials for the inserts, including the wood cut to size and ready to assemble;
• Custom computer software to track orders and enter measurements;
• Mentors from experienced Community Builds to support new teams;
• Year-round staff support to train volunteers, field questions, and help you in your process.
