In September WindowDressers was awarded a generous grant from United Midcoast Charities for our work to support economic security in Maine. The cost of heating fuel is particularly burdensome to low-income families in Maine, many of whom live in poorly insulated housing. Insulating window inserts can substantially improve the comfort, safety, and livability of the home while reducing the amount of income spent on heating fuel. WindowDressers donates up to 25% of our inserts to low-income households.

The grant from United Midcoast Charities will help fund inserts for low income residents of Knox and Waldo counties. We are so grateful to them for supporting our program!
