WindowDressers welcomes new board member Heidi Clark
WindowDressers is please to welcome our newest board member, Heidi Clark. Heidi started at Window Dressers as a participant and workshop volunteer. Her keen interest in the workshop process and her admiration of the volunteer efforts, jigs and tools inspired deeper involvement in her next two workshops. She became a co-lead of the Wells Community Workshop in 2019.
Heidi says of her experience at WindowDressers: “For the past 3 years, in frigid and cold December, I have looked forward to participating in the Window Dressers community build workshops. I marvel at the can-do attitude of our inexperienced volunteers and love the way the veteran volunteers take them underwing and show them the ropes. Every year this puts me in the holiday spirit. The inserts are not the only thing that create warmth, the volunteers do too. I look forward to resuming our community build workshops in 2021.”
